Where Does My Donation Go?

  The Foutz Foundation is a Labor of Love in memory of Travis Foutz, who left us too early in this life. We want to allow others to share his love of music by creating a foundation whose mission is to grant scholarships to others who share his love of music and to help them pursue their dreams. No one associated with the Foundation receives any monetary compensation. It is all on a volunteer basis.   

Are you a 501(c)(3)?

Yes. We are a federally recognized 501(c)(3) organization. 

When Are Scholarships Awarded?

The initial scholarships will be awarded starting in 2018 on October 3rd and then in 2019 at the beginning and through the school year. 

How Do I apply

Complete the application which is found under the instruments tab, click Apply and fill out the form. 

How Do I know If I was Selected?

We will contact recipients legal parents or guardians prior to scholarship being awarded. 

Who qualifies for an instrument

Any student K-12 who is in school and has a reference from a band director/teacher. 

Do I have pay anything for my instrument

The instrument is provide free of charge up to the limit awarded. 

Can I donate an instrument

We accept donated instruments in any condition. We prefer instruments in good shape but will take instruments that need a little love as well. 

Is my donation tax deductible

Yes! We will provide you with a receipt for your donation weather it be monetary or an instrument.
